Supporting the education of young Nepalese musicians
Béla Nepali raises funds, financially or of other nature, that allow us to support Nepalese children in their search for a qualitative musical education. The acquired funds are used primarily to buy and distribute music instruments and accessories (shoulder rests, bows, strings, music sheets…) to local organizations.
Volunteers of Béla Nepali travel to Nepal in order to give music lessons and organize music camps.
Bela Nepali organizes fundraisers in the form of concerts and performances, as well as relying on personal donations.
After the success of the previous charity event, Béla Nepali organized a new charity concert on Friday the 25th of February 2011 in ‘De Kaleidoscoop’ in Mortsel, Antwerp, but this time, with a new twist to celebrate other more modern music genres.
A highly succesful classical charity concert, featuring works by Beethoven, Mozart, Borodin and others, managed to provide an evening filled with cultural satisfaction and much-needed additional funds for the organisation.
